Where to get 3rd party cam batt for Sony beside East Gear?

What other places sell cam batteries? I tried EG and SLS basement, all dun have....

IIRC there are no compatible batteries for Sony cam that can be used.(was searching for one to use for my camcorder a while back)

Only Sony orginal batteries have an IC chip inside .

3rd party ones don't

If there is no chip ,the cam will not let you use the battery.

You will have better luck looking in ebay and yahoo auction but make sure that it is orginal.

I agree with mega32, at least Alpha 100 batt charger will not charge it for you! I personally tried it, and it failed to charge at all.

There is actually one place you can try... It depends on which battery model you looking for... Apparently quite good, heard from friend who bought before...

Got one from ebay, can be used and charged on my alpha. works fine by now
