Photography Competitions?

Hey guys! I'm new here and pretty new to photography but I have got to the point where I want to show other people other than family and friends. Can I ask if you know of any small scale photography competitions I can enter? Is there a section on this forum that I can't see that lists them? Big or small I don't mind really I would just like to see what I could win with my photos!

Awesome that is great! Found another yesterday as well...


www.tigerbeer.co.uk are after photos of Asia and you can win Tiger Beer cases....its not exactly a massive prize but everyone has to start somewhere!

hmm then why don't we ownself set a theme ourselves and then try to take a photo of the theme then we will upload here to see which one the Csers will choose....

as for the prize....hmm....see anyone interested to sponsor or what....maybe recognition will also do....just a harmless competition among us to pit our skills against each other mah....
