Any third party battery for a100?

Just got a quote from mscolor. Orginal sony battery 85$
a little expensive... want to get a third party battery

Any recommendations?

Not sure Eastgear's Camera Device brand got carry Sony Ahpha battery or not, otherwise ebay?

MS Color do sell third party type as well.

Does any company manufacture that battery? If it is a proprietary Sony battery, then it is unlikely u can get a cheaper alternative...

there are lots of 3rd party alpha batteries on ebay

Purchased a 3rd party one thru eBay. About half the price of the Sony original one. No problems with it. Was recommended by another user on Dyxum.

Search for "Inux" brand of batteries. From Hong Kong.

EastGear definitely has 3rd Party batt for A100. I got myself 2 pieces. But one of them was a dead piece, though. Had to exchange it, no problems.

Camera Devices? Didn't know they had for A100. You may want to check at Challenger too. All I will say that prices seem to vary a lot.
