Default Need help on manual lens.

This may sound stupid to most of you, but I'm desperate What must I do to use a manual lens (my sears came today) on K10D? All I get is F--

you can use you F lenses on your K10D.

The only problem is you have to do MF, not AF.

Or, you could buy the pentax 1.7x teleconverter with AF function. It could make your F lenses work as FA lenses.

you have to go to custom menu and set permitted for manual lens to be used.

No autofocus ie set to manual focus on the camera to focus manually. Set the mode dial to M mode. At a given aperture, depress the green button to take the shutter reading and you are ready to shoot.

Read your K10D manual again and refer to information on Page 35, Page 162 and Page 210.

Another question. To use SR on manual lens, should I input the lens FL or with crop factor? e.g. 135mm = 135mm or 200mm on SR Thanks

Use the focal length stated on the lens.
