Qn about B&W washout effect
I see many wedding albums use some kind of washout or high contrast effect with their B&W shots.
If I send my shots for printing instead of printing myself, is it possible to simulate that effect on chromogenic, or B&W film? Deliberately overexpose and ask it to be printed without correction? Push film?
Or use something like Tech Pan which is ? lacking in medium tones? therefore generating something of higher contrast?
By the way, I asked Ruby Photo how to rate Tech Pan, they said it was about ISO 50 .. is that right?
