How to convert Mpeg to WMA?

I was now make a movie on computer, after i burn it to dvd disc, my dvd player can no reconize, only WMA format can be read. can you guy share the expirence?

why not just make it into DVD format

on a mac you can use iDVD or toast

i am sure there are solutions to do it on a PC as well

Putting it on DVD format is a good option, but it wastes space.

If you want to convert to WMV, use the free Microsoft encoder

I need a format that can play with dvd player. you know the slide show play at wedding dinner? the restoran only have dvd player. I use nikon picture project make jpeg to movie but this format dvd can not play.

No... you need to directly encode to dvd.

Yep, but a lot of DVD players nowadays can play MP4 (WMV, WMA etc), DivX, XviD etc as well.

I use NERO and Sonic. Both came free with the DVD burner that I purchased in the past.
Both also has similar feature to "burn DVD-playable disc", which creates playable DVD (or VCD) that works on normal players. This seems to be a very common feature now. Have you searched the internet for these tools?

you don't know how old the DVD player is
also now got DVD player from $50 to a few hundreds
