DVD Camcorder with external microphones

Hi, anyone know any dvd camcorder model that allow you to use an external microphone??

Sony PD170, Z1, V1. Panasonic DVX 102BEN, HVX200. Canon XL2, HV1. JVC 100, 101. All these have XLR. However, most prosumer models does have a mini jack mic input.

Any good brand is ok. Shure, AKG, Senheisser, Audio Technica, Sony, etc. It should cost about $150 or more for a simple Dynamic Cardiode. Unless you are refering to shot gun mics then it will cost from $500-1000 depending of brands. Don't use karaoke stuff, you sound will suffer. Check out the brands' website for various models and recommended usage then go down to Sim Lim area and check around for pricing.
