As mentioned in my "wierd caterpillar" post, I was at Pasir Ris park yesterday. Interesting place, ....with horse riding, mangrove swamp and a park....quite a variety of things to do! First time at that part of the park though.
Anyway, managed to shoot a few more different insects. FZ10+Raynox 250, ISO50, F8, 1/60s-200s, 2 ext diffused flash, handheld #1: Weevil on a wooden post ![]() #2: A different type of Weevil ![]() #3: With a Kung-Fu Pose ![]() #4: Shield Bug doing one hand push up ![]() #5: Ant chewing something ![]()

Wowww... you are a spider hunter. U're good at finding these little critters and making them look so good in photographs!
Next time u go to Pasir Ris Park, can jio me to tag along? I live near the Park. My fav is the Jumping Spider. I just love those creatures. They look so cute! The "Some bug" thing looks very unusual. Never seen such a thing before. Its colour is beautiful. The Cicada looks scary... gave me a shock man! |

Thanks, the heavy jumper (I think) has the 2 hair like thing sticking out from the sides. and yes there is the white one, and I have yet to take one of it.
