It was a lucky catch.
Personally prefer more than one colour bg like this. In my opinion, good mixture of bg colours may liven up the picture a bit.

Great shots Federick. You've come along way since that talk in AH when I found you toying with a P&S.

I do agree and always try to look for such background but as you know, we are already very lucky to have our subject posing for us

Thanks Bob, must thank all the pioneer members of BC like you and some CS members who have relentlessly commented my shots and given tips for improvement.
Yes, that day, 19 June, marked the beginning of a very meaningful chapter in my life.

Beautiful colors and composition.

May I know where you found these butts?

Thanlks.
My usual hunting grounds are Ubin, Central Catchment areas (CCA)
The second shot, Pea Blue (Lampides boeticus ) was shot in the CCA, the rest at Ubin.

Thanks NatureTTL, Wisdomworld, Outlook and Richard for your kind words.

NatureTTL, thanks for the feedback. Yes, the sesnor has a dust spot on the upper left corner. Must find the time to get my D200 sensor cleaned before June.

Thanks Rey. Still not good enough to match your standard.
Your recent shots are truly excellent.
