Default First Time Stage Snapshots

Never tried stage performance shots before. Here're are some of my newbie snapshots.

Did not use flash as I wanted to capture them in ambient lighting. Pics are out of cam with slight cropping and slight noise reduction done.

Appreciate any tips for future tries.

Looks like there's very nice lighting there ...

It's a closed door Cabaret Show and they were shot when the spotlight were focused on the performers.

Any tips for future tries?

this pictures are quite sharp, maybe a tip could be to show the performer's whole body instead of just the upper half of the body. Usually that would showcase the full grandeur or beauty of the costume which are most of the time, very nice and exquisite

The over exposure could be caused by the strong spotlight on them.

Should I adjust the mid-tones in the levels to bring down the over exposed faces? Or what could be done to balance the exposures in post processing?

All of them in the photos are "bros"

Thank you for your suggestion.

From where I was seated capturing full body was difficult as there were people sitting in front of me and walking around was not permitted.

Will try again.
