Default NUS Chinese Dance (3)

Okay, one more picture from this dance which has created a small chaos regarding its suitability to be categorised as chinese dance.

The lighting is bad. So dark.

the lighting is designed for the performance, not for your private photography, how can you label the lighting as bad?

same problem as before, limbs cropped off unnecessarily. looks underexposed, very little details in the shadow region. can read up on how changing the aperture and shutter speed can help you achieve a better exposure, and in case the shutter speed required is slow for handholding, a monopod will help stabilise the camera.

Good moment, but your girl looks handless. =(
And legless. Which spoils the moment.

And yes, underexposed. But easily corrected, I guess.

With every picture, you're progressing faster than expected. The compositions is getting better just that the exposure needs to be improved further.

hi keerling..hmmz.. Dance Uncersored in UCC, organised by my hall. IF i am not wrong, photography is not allowed in the UCC..not only for this event but for other events also.. unless you are the appointed photographer. There are plenty of UCC ushers inside to stop anyone else who attempts to take photos.. I believe they are quite strict about it from what i have seen...

I covered the event for the past two years, if you are interested, here is the thread last year.

Eusoff? Or Temasek?

I guess so too. Thats why I have asked my friend to confirm with the organiser again. Hopefully there's no photographer from my hall is free, then I might get the chance to shoot.

For NUS Chinese Dance, because of Fen's invitation, thats why we got to shoot.

So yah :>

See you around then

nope not in the organising committee, but it has always been the case for UCC performances that photography is not allowed unless you are the appointed photographer, at least for the performances that i have been to (hall productions and Dance uncensored).

one of our fellow bros here got stopped by the usher while he was shooting from his seat during last year's Dance Uncensored, (thats y i said they are rather strict about it).
