i used Woh Hup laksa paste, tastes authentic ... substituted coconut milk with fresh milk, but still can get a rich stock don't have laksa leaves here, but surprisingly goes well with freshly boiled spring onion stalks, different taste, but quite a complement

if you can put some *Cong* on top of the laska, it would add some green to it and would look better. yum! hungry already.

hahaha

u can try adding some 'hei bi' into the soup base or some 'tau pok' IF u can find these in japan. ya adding some green on top will make it look better. u can do franchise liao.... hungry, dinner time!

This is the start for a cook book for enterprising overseas Singaporeans.

Very resourceful and an appertizing photo.

It reminds me to have my Malaysian chicken laksa next time I go to the city.

yah hor ... i think i saw dried prawns somewhere, can improvise again got taupok, but the japanese version abit flimsy, you see those lined up beside the beansprouts and below the beancurd?

actually there are a couple of authentic tasting singaporean restaurants in japan, just abit far from where i live
