    Default resolution

    Hi Everybody

    Just want to check, for DSLR camera picture taken, what is the usual resolution as shown in photoshop? For me resolution is 72 using Canon 400D. I want to know your view without editing picture.

    Regards

    Resolution and DPI are 2 different things.

    And yes, most cameras use 72 DPI.

    don't worry... many cameras set it at 72dpi as that's what most screens can handle.. but u can always convert it in photoshop coz the number of pixels will always be the same... it's just a matter of how many of those pixels are in 1 inch...

    dpi =dot per inch..

    doesnt matter 72 or 300 dpi because the total number of dot/pixels remain the same.
