Vertical Grip for Alpha 100

Was at MS Color this afternoon. Behind the counter there is this window display full of Sony Alpha range of items in the form of boxes.

I see the 70-200 G lens as well as the vertical grip for Alpha 100. It was written on the box, V1 G or VG 1, vertical grip Alpha 100.

Is there really VG for Alpha 100 or is the box a dummy?

Most likely it's the DiCain VG. Have not seen it myself but heard it's packaging is very similar to SONY style and color.

I don't think so. The box sport the exact same design as the rest of the sony lens boxes.
