Saw quite a few sets of D200 selling in B&S this few days..
Is it because of the S5Pro?? |

Think it is built around the D200's body (that's why, can't differentiate from D200's lines). However, the 6.1mp is interesting - the manner in which Fuji managed to "pack" images onto their sensor, it is almost equivalent to a 12.4mp. Those 6.1 packs the same amount of contrast and color info as a 12.4...
With D80's & S3 running at 10.2mp before S5, dun think Fuji is insane to release a 6.1 if there's no "hidden" capabilities by the S5...

The S2, S3 & S5 are almost identical to their Nikon's counterpart except for the sensor and (maybe) some minor changes to the electronics. So basically any accessories that the D200 accepts can be used on the S5.

People buy S5Pro for its color and DR...hmmm...but I'm not exactly sure if it's really that good, but I feel it's pretty good, as I tried it at IT show...
![]() However, it's a slow cam...and the controls are not easy to use as well... |

Fuji WB spot on,colour swee,Noise control not bad.
Buy it now. ![]() There is still a long list of cons aside from this, just do your homework carefully. Don't buy it just because it's new. Last edited by willdon; 13th March 2007 at 07:52 PM. |

The S5 Pro is actually more Fuji than Nikon. When you fiddle with the menu, it reminded me of the F31fd. The exterior is D200. the heart is Fuji.
