portraits subforum not viewable for guest?

kind of curious. Why is only the portraits subforum not viewable for guests?

wanted to link some pictures to my friend but found that they need account to view.

just a guess, since i'm not a frequent visitor there, i think the rule was set to prevent leeching of pictures by visitors without an account ... deterrence i believe. basically once you sign up for an account you agree to abide by CS posting rules and regulations.
