...I didn't say what sensor...but it's interesting, though.

It surely has very odd design.

Forget about the body.

I want my AF-S 70-200mm f/4D.

Canon has a few versions of the above... when is Nikon coming out with at least one???

I very much doubt that Nikon's gona give us a 1.0x sensor, I'm betting that they'll release a 1.1 sensor (at best) instead.
Also I just hope that they don't shrink the body size to be closer to a D80 rather than a D200.
19fps? that's gona be quite an achievement, think they're up to par for this speed at this point of time?
Anbody wana guess what's their choice for storage for this camera? CF vs SD

where did you read 19FPS? as for body size, definitely as big as the d2... they have always been that size since the D1?

Actually, Fuji and Nikon's relationship goes back a "long" way right up to the E series dSLRs (E2 and E3) in the mid 90s.

http://nikonimaging.com/global/produ..._e2s/index.htm

Plus all the Fuji S series cameras are based on Nikon bodies.

The most important thing is the price tag true or not...

Not true.
If got money, it's not important cos you can easily afford it.
If got no money, it's not important cos you cannot afford it.
I belong to the latter category, so just look, lust & drool.

...it is important if you got no money, important because of cost that why you can't afford...the importance refer to the price tag not the camera.

i would say hold off.
Until Nikon actually posts a picture of the D3, its pretty much vaporware.

And that picture is a wild guess. I certainly hope it looks nothing like that. In fact I'd be happy if it was still in a body that resembled the D2 series.

They are testing prototype(s) of what may become the D3, but there wasnt going to be an announcement of a D3 at the PMA.

It will come out later in the year however, probably tying in with Canons high-end announcement around then too.

i dont think the fov crop is unlikely to not be 1.1, but it isnt the only option theyre looking at.

The design is actually not bad, it's the more pro type of design like some digiback...
