Hi Guys...
Considering buying S5pro and obviously it uses Nikon lenses, it is something I am not familiar with. Just wanted to see if Nikon has the following lenses? 24mm f1.4 or f2? 28mm f1.4 or f2? 35mm f1.4 or f2? Primarily I am looking to have a 24 or 28mm f2 or below and 35mm f2 or below and 85mm f1.4 Can anyone help letting me know what is available in nikon range and how much is the retail price? Regards, Hart |

Just found out about a 28mm f1.4 version in AF-D 35mm there is a F2 version 85 f1.4 is a famous one, creamy bokeh (approx $1.6k??) these above are all AF-D if you really need a 24mm f2, there is a AI and AI-S version, but it's manual focus. 28mm f2 also AI and AI-S, same manual focus. 35mm f1.4 in AI and AI-S, manual focus |

http://www.nikon.com.sg/products.php?categoryid=18 (There are recommended retail prices listed there.) Not all of the lens you listed is available in f/2.0 or bigger. You can refer to the Nikon price guide "sticky" in the Nikon forum. You will get a very good idea of the pricing. BC Last edited by Scaglietti; 8th March 2007 at 10:21 AM. |

Sigma has a Nikon-mount 30mm f1.4, sounds very interesting and reviews are good.
Nikon 35mm f2 is very rare now, not easy found in shops. Nikon 85mm f1.4 is a very good lens in terms of image quality. |

thanks guys...
I am sure if I am looking for those lenses, sharpness and bokeh is not something that I need to worry about it. After all this is Nikon. There is no VR on any of these lenses? Regards, Hart |
