Good news indeed. mfd of 0.95m. much better than both Minolta version.

Now I'd just hope for an IQ comparison to the beercan or SSM G-lens. Last tamron I tested had a lot of CA.

definitely wun be as good as the G lens, if not ppl pay so much for G lens for what? lol.
but i feel tamron wun disappoint us

went to simlim on tuesday...sigma 70-200 2.8 hsm MACRO....
 .. retail at $1.7k with gst..havent bargain yet.. |

provided can find the minolta G lens first..
 ..im sure it was the hsm version.. i have sigma catalogue and 70-200mm ex gd hsm does exist but not in MACRO...SO THIS MUST BE THE LATEST by sigma... .. |

The AF/MF switch of for Canon and Nikon only what... doesn't say Sony...
