the price of A60 quoted USD 350 = SGD 600
that's too much different with A40, as it costs SGD400 |

Read the Canon web site!
There are some BIG differences between the old A40 and the new A60. In particular, it has Apeture Priority, Shutter Priority, and Manual exposure settings. It also has a Manual focus. Unless one is an inexperienced photographer who does not understand the importance of being able to set your f/stop and shutter speed and are content to have the camera make these decisions for you, this amount of control is what really makes photography both a science and an art. |

I tend to notice that the official retail price in Singapore is cheaper than US .. maybe it will come down when it reach here ..
I just wonder how long to wait for a new cam |

Should be $500 or less when it comes out. It's selling for US$249 online in the US.

hmm, i just got tha A70 for 519 (with GST) frm ms color. if A60 is going for $460, might as well spend 60 bucks more for the extra 1mp
