    thanks everyone.
like everyone says, it all root down to driving habit. all those spec were base on cruising on highway or expressway, not on controlled road.
i'm pretty lucky to get to drive a few "sport cars" before and i must say, they are a gas drinking machine. Evo 7 is like 320km while cruising but while on controlled road, it only manage to run like 250 to 280km. 2004 wrx is almost the same as the evo. 1997 suzuki 1.3 gti is like only 380km cruising and controlled road will be like 300 to 320km.
Latio is not a bad choice. get to drive it in Japan for three mnoths while i was working in japan. 42l tank can run like 500 to 580 before the gas light lights up. i did manage to hit 160km/h on tomei express and i manage to make a round trip with the tank full to and from tokyo. fyi tokyo disneyland is about 300km away from kakegawa, the city where i live.

To get maximum efficiency, remove all passenger seats and driver shed a few more pounds and keep the boot clear, if possible get the factory to paint a very thin coat of paint on the vehicle and pump hydrogen gas in tyres and you should be able to clock 20-25km/l

there are 2 version of this, one is with the Moonroof and one without. I got mine for about 63K with Moonroof and due to fallin COE, i got 2.8K rebate..so all in all, i think about 60.2K... i think the market place for this is still about 60+K for non Moonroof and 63-64K with Moonroof.... its worth it...

Also heard from folks driving the Airwave that the FC for such a large car is pretty decent, around 15km/l or better at times. Pity you cant test drive her... but well, take a look might be surprised.

Just got my Jazz in Jan this year. Must say it is really a nice car to drive. FC is quite good too. Am geting around 15km/l. Driving a manual Jazz. I like to rev and am usually the first off at the lights and can still get 15km/l. That is what I call good FC! But driving style plays a lot in how good your FC is.

It is one of the most spacious sub-compact cars around when compared to the rest. I looked at the Yaris too but Yaris has practically no boot space at all. You should look at the boot space of the Jazz. Huge for its class.
I have not seen a Honda Jazz manual before. All i see is CVT auto one...

Which Honda Jazz the back is disc brakes instead of drum brakes? Is it 1500cc model?

    Clue No. 1

All new registration needs to be Euro 4 compliant.

we are talking about cars, not panel vans here.

cars that run on petrol, not diesel.
it is common for panel vans to achieve a 1,000km on a full tank of diesel.

yeah, instrument panel looks like a Fiat Doblo alright.
The km travelled based on it's full tank is definitely a giveaway that it is a diesel engine.

There is car version for the doblo (7 seaters) using the same 1.9L turbo engine and same chassis, you can import it if you are willing to pay the $

There are also other diesel cars on the street with equally good fuel efficiency, provided that you are willing to pay the additional tax

IIRC, there's only 5 diesel passenger cars (excluding taxis) on Singapore road. Must be crazy to pay 7x the road tax as compared to the petrol version.
