nope don't have.. the last i heard was that NS was so easy they even scrapped off the uniform.. Everyone wears t-shirt and jeans. If you like you can wear singlet and slippers.

For the richer familis who can afford it for their children who cannot take the heat in sg, they are allowed in air-con rooms complete with carpetted floors.

Don't get the impression that training is relax though, the training is a strenous 8 hours behind the glaring computer screen typing out commands to the outsourced worker to dig the trench and excute field movements.

"Nights out" and "book out" are a thing of the pass, weren't you lucky you guys had it? Present day soldiers don't even get to smell it. The new system allows our NSFs to be located verbally via handphones. Anytime they need to go home, they are just a phone call away. As long as they stay on Earth, they are allowed to be roaming freely.

true.. i even heard that they threw a MGB truss out the 4th floor window because it failed the stand by bridge.

Anyway, don't blame the army that they can't throw the mattresses out the window like yesteryears.. It's all because the instructors these days are too weak to lift the mattress, let alone bring it to the door.
