    Default Rotating Dish.

    Hi just thinking.
have anyone saw or seen something like a rotating dish? which in the centre is able to rotate with only 1 marking & on the outer circle the non-mobile ring, is full of markings like, every 5 or 10 degree kind? if not den where can i find a person to make such a device? dun really need a big 1 cos my object in view is relatively small.

i am thinking of taking those 3D shots & just now i suddenly have this thought, if tripod remain constant & the object in view rotate at the same location, den it will eliminate the time taken for editing of pictures when i use my hand to manually turn the object.

    Thanks.

Have you tried pressing one of those turntables you see in Chinese restaurants into service? Big and able to take weight. Just add your own markings.

    But at a hefty price.
If im not mistaken, the plate itself costs $1000 odd.

this would be nice. since it goes in 10degree each meaning it will be taking 36 shots. but those samples take is like top to down objects. able to use it for level objects? btw how to add background screen.

haha... today i went to those art stores at bras brasah to look for a turntable for clay work. but too bad they dun sell.

so just now came home, look ard the kitchen & found a cake turntable which my mom dun use now. using simple mathematic calculation, made another small scale turntable.

have pics. wait til i find some place to post.

the top 1 show the cake turntable with 3M protector to prevent the top loading canvas from sliding off.

the last pic show the old metal turntable.
