    Been playing with this today. I must say the edit functions like Auto-colour and I'm Feeling Lucky are pretty good. Very idiotproof, reversible and accurate. Sure beats what I've been getting with PS.

    Of course, I'll still need PS for removing pimples and edge-shapening, and Noiseware for noise removal, but I won't mind using Picasa for the final colour balancing.

    Yes, you are right. I love the simple interface. Very easy to use. All my pics are edited with sharpness with it.

    picasa 2 is great when you need to do editing at a very fast speed. haha.

    Hey... start to use picasa 2 too...
    Just wondering if it has any function to create border around the photo, or insert text onto the photo...

    unfortunately not, as far as I know. hopefully they will this kind of feature on their next release.

    It can read raw files leh!
    I use it to go through my shots to trash the lousy ones before I start editing.
    Free and good!
