Was helping out at an outreach event for 1-room HDB dwellers in Siglap. Couldn't help but feel that their apartments looked like cells. Terribly depressing. To share with you guys.

Reminds me of the old days when I went to visit my aunt in Toa Payoh. At least this place looks a whole lot brighter.

Had you not mentioned they are HDB flat units, a foreigner visiting this site might think that they are jail cells for real...
