Default moving of closed sales thread to a subsection of garage sales

very often when i search for stuffs i want to buy in GS, i end up looking through countless closed sales thread in my search results. it's abit annoying that half the results are closed threads.

i suggest moving closed sales thread into a subsection of the B/S section or b/s: flash section. this would enable sellers and buyers to gauge the price range of similar items sold recently.

another issue, when i searched for flash, sb-800. i end up typing, sb800, sb-800 because different ppl type it differently. same goes for aperture size and focal length.

what i suggest is to denote a standardised format and insert at the condition guidelines page before each wtb/wts thread.

this would be impossible, just as it is impossible to make everyone spell "lens" instead of "len" or "lense"

Isn't it likewise a spelling error for SB800 or SB-800.

And apparently, lense is also correct, albeit uncommon.

those closed threads serves a purpose... for potential buyers to check pricing range and for potential sellers to price their items effectively.

Agreed. I rely heavily on the closed threads. Sometimes, I even check some other guys posting history on the B&S to gauge the condition of his items.

so to make it efficient to search for those u mentioned, a subsection would be better rather than cluttering it the ongoing sale threads.
