Hmmm ... tempting ... how is the high ISO compared to the Fuji F10 series ?

Owned Fuji F10, Panasonic FX-7, FZ, etc ...... now this seems to be a combination plus 5X optical ... wow ?

Well, i guess $650 should have GST included. If non inclusive, that would be $682.50, wif 1 512mb card & case only. I dun think MS Color is that expensive right?

Wonder how does it compares to Casio EX-V7? http://www.dpreview.com/news/0701/07010803casioexv7.asp Is this camera on sale already i also dunno. This has 7x optical zoom, or 10x optical zoom at smaller 3.0mp resolution. Casio can zoom in movie mode, as it claims the zoom mechanism is silent.

But do you guys think Casio Exilim or Sony Cybershot has better photo quality? I think Sony is a safer bet isn't it?

one of my fren owns a casio cam..the cam image quality is not so good..the white balance is always off.. IT show soon but i doubt the price will be reduced..more free gifts i think...sony would be a better choice then casio ..

Handled it at Courts Tampines just now.. didn't like it.. too plasticky and 'hollow'... Of course if it takes great pics, who cares, right? Anyway, I didn't get to test the shots, so.....

Saw it at the I.T show & handled it & tried to take some photos with it. I felt that auto focus response was fast. It could handle difficult to focus object against the background becoz both are black colour... i was pleased with the performance... The LCD screen is sharp, nice, bright & shows a lot of details. Super Steady Shot is effective. Image is sharp. Colours are accurate.

Externally, it felt less 'solid' than it looks in photos... doesn't seems as sleek & small as in photos. The black does not look nice at all... Matt black? Looks old old like tat. The display set looks very used, as it must have been touched by countless greasy hands. The red colour i also didn't like the shade of red it is in...
