in the mist of checking up the Canon, have started considering the SONY FX7.
1 is using CCD and the other one using CMOS, is there anyone having the comparison or comment on the image quality? or any link will be good enough, will check up myself.... will there be a huge difference in the image quality between these two? thanks again.... |

Hi,
Just bought a HVR-V1P, brother of the FX7...no major quality difference with the FX1/Z1P..advantage is longer battery life and no vertical smear!!! not to mention true progessive scan Way cool...loving my cam.. Pierce |

Also the 20x zoom for FX7 and V1, the XLR inputs on V1, the cine like gamma and 25p mode too.
Sony's webpage under pro broadcast equipment has all the details. |

i thought HC-7 is a very good camera too.
Read that it has a new colour processing technology that can produce twice the amount of colour compare to normal camcorder |
