Default Loreo

Hmmm something to muse abt, the loreo lens in cap and PC lens in cap $22 and $35 respectively from Perly.

The main title for their lens in cap is 'turn SLR into PnS' which really begs the qn of why ppl wana do that in the first place. Really stupid marketing.

I'm very tempted to get the PC lens in cap though

Lens Type:Wide angle
Lens system: 35 mm, 5.6, 3 elements, plastic
Film Format: 35 mm standard film (24x36 mm)
Diaphragm: Sliding disc
Focusing: Pan focus
from 1.5m to infinity at f/11
from 1m to infinity at f/22
Special Feature: Lens can be shifted 3.5mm off axis in any direction for perspective control
SLR body mounts: Pentax K, Canon EOS, Canon FD, Nikon F, Olympus OM, Minolta MD, Minolta AF, M42 (Universal Screw Mount)
Dimensions: 63 mm diameter x 25.2mm thick

What do you guys think?

Who is Perly? Is is a store or a person?

I think the '3D Lens in a Cap (T)' is more interesting.

damn and i jus ordered from loreo online....
cost me almost 40 inclusive of shipping
most got the lens in cap because of the small f stop, works like a larger version of a pinhole for the pinhole enthusiasts
anyway the 3D lens makes stereo images which requires a viewer to view =)
otherwise it is jus 2 photos

Actually can train your eyes to view in 3D without the use of the Viewer.
I have the Loreo 3D film camera which came with the viewer but did not need to use the viewer because of this.

this is Perly

I seriously dont get the 3D lens in cap. Essentially you get 2 images in 1 pic? eg here and then you need a viewer to view the developed pic? wa very troublesome. if can produce the optical illusion of the 2D pic looking 3D i would get it

omg you bought the lens in cap? i was thinking of getting the PC lens in cap (damage: $35) and use it as a body cap and mod my current body cap into pinhole (damage: none) and only need to buy filter to cover the pinhole (which is the cheapest filter to get and from where huh?) den no need for lens in cap ma

My apology. Perly did inform me his loreo stuff had arrived, when I meet him to collect film sleeves I ordered from him. but I forgotten to let you guys know. He also brought in some interesting toy cameras like stereo cameras, camera model kit & a action sampler with shutter speed control.

hmm actually only diff bet lens in cap and PC lens in cap is that lens in cap has f64 pinhole setting while PC lens in cap got PC and closer focusing (1m vs 1.5m)

so if i intend to DIY a pinhole cap for my cam den it pretty much renders lens in cap 'useless' so to speak (of course pic quality taken by lens in cap would be much better den my home made pinhole lens cap la)

aiyo cant decide any advice?
