Hello... One CSer is selling a Olympus WCON08B. I am interested to get this for my FZ50 But still need some user advice on whether this is a good purchase or not. User reviews are more than welcome.... Thanks! Last edited by cjl; 3rd March 2007 at 12:22 AM. |

Basically, I need the pros and cons of using this with FZ50 and the pricing. I read abt the lens with FZ30, so I am wondering if there are others I need to take note As for pricing, I try to get a quote from MS Color but no reply yet leh.....mmm |

Bro, from what I read some some threads in the past, the picture quality may degrade a little, especially at the side of the picture but right now the tread seems not to be found when I use the search function. May be you can try to look for it
But personally, I have not try the wide angle converter as I am saving up to get a flash/ tripod/ tele converter, either 1 first. Will inform you if I find anything regarding to your enquiry ![]() |

if you just need a cheap basic flash, olympus fl-36 should fit you need. its light, cheap(cheaper than most other flash out there) and more than enough for normal user use.

I got my FL-36 2nd hand (with a few months warranty left) for about 250 but with the TTL capability its worth it...saves a lot of flash headaches and easy on the fly adjustment of the flash power |

$200+ for 2nd hand is already one of the cheapest out there for a TTL-compatible flash.. |

OK guys, btw lets get back to the topic. Anyone tried using the wide angle converter by olympus?
Hahaha... Maybe we can discuss flash in a separate thread since there are some being started. ![]() |

Hi cjl, another alternative is DCR6600 with 72mm thread (in case need to use polariser/UV etc) coz if I'm not wrong DCR730 might not have any front-threads(pls check it out @ Raynox site) Thanks. ![]() |

got a Fujiyama wide-angle for my FZ-50... but it was 60mm, but there's 2 step-down convertors... from 60mm -> 58mm, 58mm -> 55mm... abt S$150... but it wasn't in SG, so not sure if it's helpful to u a not...
