Default Question regarding VistaQuest

Hi,

I got a VistaQuest off expiredyohgurt.

Just wanna check if you guys use sd cards on this? whats the max it can go?

I have used a 128mb mini sd with adaptor and now the card is corrupted till it can even be formatted. tried a 512mb sd and the folder created by Vistaquest also got corrupted and can be deleted.

Did i do something wrong somewhere?

Please advise guys.

Thanks!

*Mods, if this is not in the right section, pls feel free to move it.

Max 512 MB , it's stated somewhere in the manual if I don't remember wrongly.

So far no problem leh, I tried microSD with adaptor on it, normal SD also no problem. Not sure what you're doing wrong.

i understand that sometimes if 2 folders of the same or near identical names are created, the card can become corrupt

Can you still shoot with the internal memory? I think either your camera is screwed or your card is.

Based on Sandisk current website,

there is a 5 year limited warranty. Did you keep your receipt?

Here's the technical support site for Sandisk btw:

http://www.sandisk.com/Corporate/ContactUs/

Has some contact numbers, not sure if it's the correct place to look.

AFAIK, it's not sold anywhere in singapore, except when expiredyoghurt brings some in for an MO.

u can try search ebay under 'keychain camera'.

Vistaquest is made in China in the first place
so i think u can find it there.
Vistaquest i believe is one of the companies which has ordered the camera from China. There must be a main factory which does all these mini-cams as there are other similar ones but with different brands around.
