Hi all,

thank you for your responses. Greatly appreciated. Think I'll go for a lesser build. Matbe the 7 or 7xi or 700si. Cheers!

Rgds

Dynax 7 is more user-friendly and faster in autofocusing, plus quick focus selection disc, data memory etc

Hi Andy,

yes. no more sim cards! However, the 800si is kinda hard to find in a second hand market yah? I'm currently using 7000AF and would like to switch to a newer model.
Thanks for your recommendations. By the way, anyone here selling their Minolta camera?

Cheers

Ha Ha,i am using 700si and i send my cam for repair once for card door replacement.what the hell,i am not even using the sim card!they had all major button built there,eg iso over-ride,metering mode changing......anyway it's still a great cam.most of my B/W shoots turn out well..... just upgrade to a 24-85 lens.....wow razor sharp even with iso400 B/W film,i mean the true chromogenic films.....it's a pity they can't repair my 24-50 f4 lens.they should revive that lens!!damm nice.stack a red hoya n & a super hmc cir-pl oni little vignnetting....
