上海市卢湾区鲁班路288号(上海市中心斜土路口) call: 13818569003 - selling many benro tripods. Price wise you have to research first, however, their price is okay but still must haggle with them. |

Just for information, saw the sigma 10-20mm at YLcamera selling for only 3600 Rmb before negotiation. about SGD 720 only. Singapore i think 850 if not wrong.
btw, i got my benro C-028n6 + KB-0 for 1450 RMB there, but i think price can be slightly more cheaper. ![]() |

I went to XingGuang Photographic Mart today on a whim and that place sells everything to do with Photography under one roof. 6 floors of shops selling new and used cameras/lens, tripods, studio lighting/equipment, digital/film processing, photography books (in Chinese though), costumes (garish-looking chinese wedding gowns!), and even make-up!
I found certain items to be cheaper than Sg. For example, SB800 flash for 2650rmb, and Tokina 12-24 for 3400rmb...all 1 year China warranty. They also sell grey items with 1 yr shop warranty for less of course. Although based in Shanghai, it's the first time for me to buy photography stuff in Shanghai. Any fellow S'porean bros care to share any pitfalls to avoid? |

Are you based in HK? I would think HK prices are pretty competitive and less worry compared to buying stuff in China?

the whole building virtually uprooted and planted itself to the new 鲁班路 building liao.
u can find the shops almost exactly where they used to be in the old building. kinda creepy. haha. oh and kingripoche heads and plates there are like dirt cheap. dunno about benro tho, i wont touch them now cuz their quality still sucked. velbon is a better bargain. |
