Default Where to buy good price mini HD tape?

Any idea where to buy good price sony DVM63HD tapes(For HD use)?
I have bought several from japan at around 2500 yen per three pcs. How come the local price for one tape is 26S$? I checked cathay photo and sony website. Any place to buy these tapes at reasonable price? Will the coming IT show have some good deal?
Thanks.

Try G&G, lvl 2, Sim Lim Towers. Lots of Pro videographers, even mediacorp guys buy stuffs from them. I recommended some FSV(NP) students to buy there and their lecturer say its cheaper than what he gets.

I bought the same tape at G&G for $16. Believed it is the lowest in SIN

If you are referring to consumer HD camcorders, I read that there is no significant difference (if any) in video quality between HD miniDV tape and normal miniDV tape.

No, the quality is the same. But the HDV tapes are supposed to be more rugged and give fewer dropouts, because dropouts have a bigger impact on HDV due to the large GOP structure.
