Getting out of CPF
Anyone Singaporean running a business in Singapore or abroad here? I would like some advice from people with actual experience. You can PM me if you like.
Recently I have been offered a job by a Singapore company but being based in a neighbouring country that I have requested. It looks good until I saw what I have left after deducting CPF. Though it's still money, it's not money in the pocket that I could use to further my ventures.
So if you run a business in SG, do you pay yourself CPF? Or do you have other ways around it?
What if you set up an offshore business and the Singapore company will deal with you as a partner instead?
Note that in both cases, you are still a Singapore citizen/PR. What about NS liabilities?
