Default Morning rays [FZ30]

Woke up this morning and saw a nice scene out of the window. The sun was slowly peaking over a hill to the left and clearing the morning mist in the meadow below me.

Pleasant shots, but misses some oomph I feel. Any tips?

Hey man, like the feel of the misty hills there.
Perhaps can catch the mists earlier when the skies are more blueish (or use a grad filter)

Earlier...

Not an option...need my sleep

Thanks for the comments, yeah a grad filter may be the thing to get, was thinking of grabbing my CPL and see if anything would come out of it, but by the time that thought came along, the mists were disappearing.
