    To all:

    I sent the camera for servicing. Had to change the back lens and all. Fungus was rather bad. Still waiting for it to return from the "hospital".
    Bought the 50mmf1.8 lens and a basic dry box.

    Hihi Mimeow,
    I first started with an EOS 500, it lasted me about 5 years before I decided to move on to an EOS 3. Then I bought a Tamron 28-200 lens so that I could anything I want. Optical quality compared to other lens may not be that great but it's a very versatile lens.

    If you want to concentrate on learning photography, as long as you have a manual mode, it's fine. Spend your money on lens instead. Your picture is only as good as your lens are. ^^

    Yup yup. Coudn't agree less. Get wat fits ur budget & shoot in manual to improve. Lens IMHO is more impt than body.
    Ur 50mm F1.8 quite good liao.

    no problem.
    my manual is for EOS1000F. i am not a cannon user and hope that there is not much difference between that and EOS1000FN.

    how to pass it to you?
