Hi Racoon, wishing a speedy recovery for Hotspots!
Eikin: Reading from the website, summitting Mt Fuji may be too ambitious for me as I'll mostly have business attire with me, plus Sun 22 departing for China.
Looking at the bus schedule, it might be possible to bus and return on same day. Hoping that the 1 Apr 07 Schedule is the same as last year's as shown in the web link given.
So here's the plan:
Take Chuo Hwy Bus from Shinjuku 0710 to Kawaguchiko 0855
Spend the day around Kawaguchiko & the lake area
Leave Kawaguchiko 1759 to Shinjuku 1944
What do you think? Worth the journey?

wait, mt. fuji is not open to general public for climbing at this time
Ya, it is not advisible as the weather may be too unpredictable. But the town of Kawaguchiko (6hrs hike below the summit) should be open.
Otherwise, any other recommendations?
We can still try to meet up during weekends, plan some outing, maybe to santosa, bird park, etc
Evq and Funny ................ do you know something we don't? Hope it's good news.
Pls take care OK.
I get paid more shooting part time ...... damn, I should find more time to shoot part time
Thanks for all the well wishes guys!
Hopefully can recover soon to join you guys for kopi...
