Hi guys,
I'm using a EOS 400 with 28-135 and planning to get a 10-22. Have been advised by my friend to get a 77mm CP and then get a adapter to use it on the 72mm thread 28-135 lens. Any suggestions or comments? And any recommedation on what brand or type of CP i should get? Thanks for the reply. Happy CNY to all. |

If you get a 77mm CP, then you use step-up ring from 72mm to 77mm. If you were to to get a 72mm CP, then you would need to use a step-down ring from 77mm on the 10-22 lens down to 72mm for your CP. This will cause vignetting because your CP is smaller than your lens especially at the wide end. As for recommendations, let's see what the experts have to say. From what I know, B+W is a good brand (though expensive) cause of its very good protective coating.
