The e-quote price for K100D (with 18-55 kit lens) from MS a week ago was S$1050 (w/o GST), free 1GB sd card, but not sure if with bag....

Why the 50-200mm lens is cheaper when buying the K10D?

Is it necessary to get the 2 kit lens? How much better is K10D compares to K100D?

weatherseals, more megapixels, better SR, faster AF, support for in-lens motors, better viewfinder. In exchange it's heavier, loses ISO 3200, and performs a little worse at ISO 1600.

I have a K100D, and I would probably buy the K10D if I was making the decision again (although the recently reduced prices of the Sony A100 are actually quite appealing) but I don't think it's worth the upgrade.
