i brought it at this promo, price slightly lesser than stated in the nikon price guide. But really glad i shopped at MS color.

zahx81: yep. Lords is selling the body at a slightly lower price than what I bought ($20 difference only). But I felt that the difference was more than offset by the 2 cards and the bag.

Do check out with few shops before hand and go down personally to the shop, ask for promo or better price.

At any rate, if you've never gone to MS Colour before, you would surely not be able to get as good a price as a regular there.

I concur with Yatlapball . I went to MS Colour because my friend knows Florence and she quote him the price. When I told the couple who was there that Florence quoted to my friend the price, they said, "Sorry, don't know your friend" the price is this $$$. I swear, I will never go back. I straight away call Lords and he quoted me a lower price than Florence quoted to my friend. I bought from Lords straight away.

No need to have special promo, or special here and there. Just quote the cheapest price for CS members across the board, CS members will know what to do.

I guess in this world is all about networking....I consistantly get better pricing from MScolor...because of the no. of new customers I introduced to them, as well as the amount I spend there. Sometimes they do sell at cost just to keep me back as their customers. I have not gone to a shop where the boss will serve you personally, by drinks from the hawker center to serve the customer, but at MScolor I do get such treatment. Cos once in a while I do them some favor here and there.

On MSColor serivce and friendliness - yes - still get A+ from me. But for pricing - to regular customers - can be improved a little - even if it is a few dollars, its the feeling of getting known your business is very much appreciated. I am also quite a regular there - not every week/month but regular enough for them to know me at a glance (my pruchase are not necessary all for my own use).

I pop into the other better shops (mention regularly here) and sometimes I have better pricing. And I have thus brough a no. accessories from others - convenience and as it has not much incentive to go all theway to AMK.

I give them overall a B++ (used to be A). Getting good good A+ is difficult - unless ones make a lot of regular pruchases. Having say that, any intended purchase, I still think of them first and I aways recommend others (and some of the good one mention in CS) to go there. Beside friendliness, also an honest one - ones won't end up with some of those experiences we read once in awhile here - like excessive pricing, getting something not what you originally want/intended, misrepresented on certain products, etc...

Since the special price is only for the TS and the regulars then the thread title is a bit misleading.

There is NO promotion.

Unless it's something like the D50 being sold at Courts for $799 a couple of weeks agowhere the price applies to any buyer.
