I just got an expoamigo WB filter and am figuring out where to point to.

Indoor, I get the best results by pointing directly towards the light source, usually the ceiling.

Outdoor, morning/evenings I point at 30 deg away from the sun. I realise that if I point directly at the sun, the picture is too blue as it does not meter the light coming from the blue sky. If I point away from the sun, the picture is too red as it only meters the "blue rays of the sky".

Is this correct? Any comments? Is there any comparison done with the 3 filters common available in singapore, the SUPER expensive expodisc, the expensive zerocs brought in by SLCC, and the cheapo expoamigo found in CS?
