Gitzo CF Tripod Price

Hi there,

anyone knows where and what's the best price for the Gitzo CF 2540L tripod?

I'm looking to get a light and tall tripod for traveling and this model seems to meet the requirements but its quite hard to find in the market. I realised that no one here is selling this model too.

Anyone with any recommendations for other tripods of this class can also share your opinions.

Personally, I've looked at the Benro C-257 but found it a bit shorter and yet heavier.

Can try TK. else can go to CP but quite expensive for them.

Thanks for the suggestion. I find this model is almost non-existent in the second hand market.

Quite new i guess wait a while there is alway new product coming out and the BBB symdrome.

The Gitzo 2540LVL is a new tripod series from Gitzo with G-Lock leg locking system.

Was at TK Foto last Sat, saw the new shipment of Gitzo tripods, but not sure if this model came in too.

Yes, this model is relatively new although I saw it at CP last September. Their price was really interesting so I waited and see.

The main thing about this tripod that I'm looking for is its height to weight ratio. The other models that I see so far all cannot make it besides the benro C-257 which is a bit heavier and not as smooth in extending.

I need the height of the 2540L. The 2540 is too short for me.
Benro C-297 is tall but its a bit too heavy so I'll rather consider the C-257.
