    Default 100mm Macro Lens & 70-200mm f/4 Lens

This question may sound stupid but I'm going to ask anyway :

I know they serve different purpose. One is for Macro and the other,telephoto/zoom.
I'm wondering if the 70-200mm can be used as a macro lens as well.

Please 'enlighten' me if anyone know the answer!

The 70-200 only has a magnification of 1:5 where as the 100 is a 1:1 ratio. If you want to use it like a macro lens you need eitehr a close up filter or an exention tube..
