even if i have the $ but then its impractical to carry it around everytime i go shooting coz i have a philisophy that says everytime go shooting must carry every piece of lens that i own otherwise its a waste of $ to buy the lens that u dont feel like carrying out with u.

True, no pt. to buy a lens that you are unwilling to bring out with you. This is a specialist lens and not for everyone. Every lens is designed with a specific purpose in mind. Obviously only the wildlife shooter would appreciate the merits of such a lens, provided he or she is willing to bear the cost and the weight.

its a highly regarded super-telephoto lens! especially good for birding and nature photography =)
