I'm deciding between Tamiya TLT-1 1/18 scale monster truck (4wd/4ws) or Tamiya DF-02 Rising Storm 4wd buggy...

Something else caught my sight on the net...

    Team Associated RC18T.

1:18 scale. But quite different from Tamiya's 1/18 monster truck.

    Cute i think.

It has all the hop up parts just like any 1/10 4wd sedan or buggy. But the motor is a smaller sized than 1/10 cars. Then the servo & receiver is also smaller size type... i wonder i'll have problem finding a not...

i've got a couple of old losi XXT's (one is CR model) waiting to be fixed up.

both in need of new bodies, wheel sets and motors. will probably have to overhaul the transmissions as well. after which, need to get new RC gear and batteries before they can run.
Today is a gift; that's why it's called the present.

Cool Re: Who plays R/C cars here ?

Testing out both my upgraded car, and my new Canon G7.
A few more shots here, but all static ones, lah. As you can see, I'm quite a horrible driver, the car's quite badly abused. Have already cracked the bodyshell quite badly and broke some bits off the chassis.

Btw, anybody know what can I do about thread (as in screw thread) stripping? Metal screw, plastic holes, will be quite inevitable, no?

And lastly, what's a good web resource for R/C? (equiv to ClubSnap and DP Review, perhaps?) Thanks!
