Default Cup Of Rose

Trying out the Nikkor AiS 50mm f1.2 manual focus lens on the D200
1/45 s @f1.2 no flash
PP done to adjust white balance as the original pic was a tad greeny.
Pic was also cropped for a tighter feel.

comments please...

did u apply USM? if not, then this lens is darn sharp!

nice but in this instance u need a little more DOF so that the orange rose is in focus.

Hi thanks for ur input..i did not apply usm maybe i should try..and see whats the result...

I still think that the colors are a little too off for my liking.

the DoF is fine, I think.

certainly. There is too much green in the background bokeh for my liking I feel. I would have like the picture to have been warmer since it would balance the blues in the picture as well.
