After a few days of polling, it seems that we are going to see some fellow clubsnappers better off soon with them wanting to raise their rates. Hehe.

So the next question could be: would customers feel OK to increased charges?
Maybe a poll can be conducted in some non-photographic forum where forummers could be asked to vote, on a scale of: -100% (was complete waste of money) -50% -25% -10% 0 (I got exact what I paid for, no more, no less) +10% +25% +50% +100% or more (outstanding work in the past that deserved to be paid more) ...as to how much they really should have paid, compared to what was charged, for photographic assignments that have commissioned in the past. Dissatisfied customers should be solicited for feedback on the same poll thread as to why their answer was a negative and specific details of any particular assignments gone sour, and depending on their responses, maybe current or would-be professional photographers might can find insightful info on the needs/wants/no-no's and the real market demand for their work. |

Hi, I was thinking that since this subject is on rates commanded by photographers, I hope to get the advice of all fee-charging photographers out there regarding my query at:

As it's a new year and with more experience, I was considering raising my rates as well but their is only one drawback that I see to doing this. You will always find someone out there who will spoil the market and do it for much less..very frustrating but true.
