    Default need some GOOD advise for taking action pic ..................

    Dear Clubsnapians ,
    I don know nutz bout camera n would like to get a USED digicam to take pic for surfing , which is better canon or nikon ?

    My budget not more than $1500.00

    what sorta cam you want?
    point and shoot (for consumers) or dslr? =D

    erm.. with budget of 1.5k, most likely DSLR? or high-end bridge cam?

    Er .... need a digital cam that fast enough to capture the movement in sec n with zoom lens .... . . thx.

    bridge cam then,
    try panasonic fz series
    or canon s3 is
    or sony h2
    should work for you =D

    friens of mine using canon 350D for his wakeboading pic , looks really sharp n nice ... wat u rekon ? thx .

    powershot s3 is
    all those i recommend is 6 mgp good enough for common prints

    you need 8 mgp?!

    Pentax K10D + sigma 100-300 or 80-400 OS.

    Can't remember which sigma lens is for Pentax mount... gotta find out first.

    not really, if you read up a bit
    you'll find out that image quality does not correlate to megapixels on paper
    sensor quality and size does play a part too! =D

    Photograhy isn't as cheap as you think. There're afew price guides in CS to give you a better picture (Pun intended ) of what kind of equipment you're looking at.

    ok , but i need fast continuous shooting function . Subject traversed bout 20-30 km/h .

    I can get a brand new 350D at $990.00 , how much does a USED 300mm lens cost ?
