I hear that this is a very good sharp lens, even wide open. Would appreciate some advice on how much is a good price to pay for a good condition 2nd hand ? Also, which is better to buy - 50mm f2.8 or 50mm f1.4 ?

Its a matter whether u need macro or not.If u need macro, i feel that 100 f2.8 'D' is more useful than 50 f2.8. If u want optical quality,50 f2.8 is very sharp while 50 f1.4 is even sharper when stop down to f2.8

I have one in mint condition for sale. It's less than a year old
and the warranty card is still not sent. It comes with a leather pouch with shoulder strap. Contact me by PM if you're interested. I'm selling because I'm switching brands. Jimmy |
